Qualifications and Experience
As the owner of Full Contact Racing, Eric Brown’s experience started in 2010 working with the Worlds Greatest Action Sports (WGAS Motorsports) as their competition director. From 2010 to 2023 I have promoted approximately 45 demolition derbies and monster truck shows each year across the west coast including California, Washington, and Oregon. When WGAS’s owner retired at the end of the 2023 season I started my own company Full Contact Racing. We have had an exceptional 2024 season that included a successful expansion into Utah.
Full Contact Racing makes a connection with the drivers that makes them feel like we can relate to them. It also allows us to keep up with the fast changing technology and our rules reflect that we are knowledgeable of our sport. Marketing is also one of our strong skills and we know how to get our shows in front of the right drivers.
Notable Shows We’ve Produced
Discover the reasons that set us apart.
01
Chino Challenge
Since taking over this show in 2018, it has seen significant growth. Since then it has become the biggest stand-alone derby in California that draws cars from all over the country and Canada.
02
Sacramento County Derby
This show was canceled in 2022 for lack of cars. After acquiring this derby in 2023 FCR was able to create a hard hitting derby with a diverse group of limited weld and stock car drivers. In 2024 the limited weld class alone had a car count of 24 drivers.
03
Santa Rosa County Fair
5 days of monster trucks and derby. This has been a sold out show for the past 12 years that we have produced this show. This derby is a 1960 and older only show where all the cars are painted like famous movie cars.
04
Beaver County Fair
Grown from 17 cars in 2023 to 53 cars in 2024. This was a great way to show how successful our driver first approach can be in Utah.
05
TV Shows
We have worked on many TV shows such as Bones, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Jay Leno’s Garage, Try Guys and an In-N-Out Commercial.
Being a demolition derby driver for over 18 years and having competed in over 250 derbies, Full Contact Racing makes a connection with the drivers that makes them feel like we can relate to them. It also allows us to keep up with the fast changing technology and our rules reflect that we are knowledgeable of our sport. Marketing is also one of our strong skills and we know how to get our shows in front of the right drivers.
I wholeheartedly recommend Full Contact Racing. They were professional and reliable. Eric has participated as a driver in our derby at the Beaver County Fair before he was hired to run our derby, so he knows both sides of the derby issues and has connections to bring drivers so your derby will be a success. FCR is professional and organized.
